The rebrand of a city is nothing to take lightly. I received a call from Visit Oakland, asking if I could create something quickly after another agency had tried. From the logo, we created brochures, trade show booths, car wraps, OOH—the wanted the total package, and were thrilled with the result.
Robert F. Kennedy Children's Action Corps help hundreds of children, youths, and their families deal successfully with behavioral and emotional issues at nearly a dozen facilities throughout the state.
I was able to tour one of the homes for kids for their Thanksgiving meal. I was so honored and touched to get to meet the kids, and hear their stories, that I wanted to share their words and pictures in the annual report. The kids in different facilities were given disposable cameras, and told to take pictures of everyday life. These pictures were so special to me moving this project forward, and I know the kids and caregivers appreciated being included.
Want to give to the cause? I sure do!
Fisherman’s Wharf, in San Francisco’s historic waterfront district, was looking for a fresh look and a new set of eyes to bring a different kind of tourist to their bustling attractions. Home to hotels, restaurants and shopping, alongside beautiful bay views, the opportunities to redesign their creative (including a custom map) has been the opportunity of a lifetime. The data and information this group has collected was put into this brochure. I wanted every page to help draw attention to the tremendous opportunity to build a stronger state, share proven solutions with their extensive networks, align resources, and centralize tracking and reporting of data and outcomes across foundations. It was an honor to participate in creating this brochure, and at the same time, learn about the obstacles these young men face when achieving their goals.
