I get to put something new and beautiful into the world that solves my clients problems every day. I draw upon my background in advertising and graphic design, and my creativity and playfullness.
I trained in creative departments at advertising agencies in Boston and San Francisco. I started my own agency in 2005 as a side business, and it has become my singular focus since 2010. My client list has grown to include Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, Alameda County, Jack London Square, Counterpoint Press, Perseus Books, and Visit Oakland among them.
My design philosophy is to keep things simple and targeted. I offer a range of design options, but all of them are clear, clean, and distilled. If you can say it with fewer words, design elements, and clutter, then it’s worth exploring. My approach is careful and cerebral. Getting as much information about what the client is looking for, and background discovery as possible, I immerse myself in the problem at hand. I approach the project from new and different angles. I know that there is more than one creative solution to a problem.
When not solving design problems, I am wrangling my two kids, enjoying Denver and trying to work at a different coffee shop every day.
